Hi Folks,
Good Evening
Hope you all are doing well.
I am just done with the HR and Salary discussion for the Data Engineering role with Telstra .
Which location is good to join Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Pune when it comes to Data Engineering roles and opportunities in Telstra ?
Any one currently working or worked in Telstra looking forward to your valuable inputs and suggestions.

I would nudge god because that’s the size of the miracle you’ll need to get an answer from anyone.
I would assume you’d check in with your individual team’s lead for that. But your HRG would likely be able to give a recommendation as well on who to talk to. I don’t personally know how the market rates are determined.
SUP is under paid to start. On average we are about 5-10,000 less then most companies
I think we’ve lost sight of the OP. Just asking how market rate is determined for SUP/ENT group since it does not seem to match outside roles that are equivalent or less. Not talking about BU money. Only talking apples to apples. Not shaming ZS or shouting grass is greener. Does not seem great to encourage if enough “stand out” ppl leave then SUP/ENT compensation would be addressed. How about being noticed while we are here? Then ZS could filter in more stand outs long term too.
What group isn’t on par? I would talk to the HRBP, but there are usually tools that HR uses to figure out the compensation bands.
They calculate HALF of what a reasonable yearly income would be, and that’s what they pay admins.
They take advantage of us because they can.
ZS 2, perhaps most companies are.
But they don’t run around claiming TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT as one of the pillars on which the company is founded.
Overworked, underpaid, and subjected to blatant favoritism isn’t treating anyone right.
