I stopped contributing to my 401K for the last three months in order to pay off credit card debt. I am 28 and have about 68K in my 401K. Was this a smart decision? I want to get out of debt as quickly as possible and I have no student loans or car debt.

What would you do in this situation?
I have my last day at employer A right before thanksgiving and will be covered on their health insurance through 11/30. I am taking some time off before starting a new position with employer B in mid January but their insurance wouldn’t be effective until 2/1. I have 60 days to elect COBRA under employer A, which leaves me with 2 days where I wouldn’t have coverage (Jan30/31). What would you do in this situation? (Cont)

HNY all! I have multiple rollover and traditional IRAs, as well as a solo 401k. But (since I started paying attention to this kind of thing) have always been over the income limit to start a Roth IRA. I’ve also not done much contributing in the last few years due to purchasing an apartment and saving for renovations. I got an offer from Legato Health Technologies.. And I was not serving notice period when I received offer.. I said I can join immediately.. Later by God sake they agreed to postpone for 45 days to join on jan 2nd.. But my LWD is on Feb 13rd.. Early release is not possible here.. What is the best reason I can give legato to postpone joining date until Feb 15th..
I don't want to loose this because they gave 100℅ hike
