Sofia Coppola wasn’t sure whether or not he was actually going to show up in Japan to shoot Lost in Translation until the very last minute. Love him, love the Jeep spot, but I’d never pitch him bc I get enough stress on the job 😛

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been asked to get bill Murray over the years I’d be wealthy. While the concept isn’t something we all haven’t pitched before, it was executed beautifully and didn’t disappoint. I was envisioning the producer leaving vm’s on his random answering machine and his ears finally perking up when they mention they secured all the other actors and locations and $$$....

Do you ever feel like there are rooms you’re locked out of? I’m a black woman, i lateraled to my group a few months ago with minimal onboarding and welcome. A white woman joined recently and everyone has bent over backwards to make her feel welcome and get her integrated into the group. People have invested less in me and it’s going to show in a few years when she’s up for partner and I’m still catching up.

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. I thought I’d have the upper hand with the nursing shortage but I’m getting the “rules are rules” response. Help!?!
