1/2 I launched Preppally.com a couple of months ago, by now I had 60 paying clients. Preppally is a career e-learning and career guidance platform for commercial profiles who look to find a job at tech companies.
~95% of our users found a job within 6 months. I am spending tons of time converting users, often having 121 conversations etc. One they convert they are very satisfied.
I am looking for feedback what would be potential objections to convert/if you see things missing
I’m curious why you chose “commercial” in your headline. I think it would read better without it unless you feel it’s important to have there. Looks like good offer for job seekers though!
Agree with this. That word stuck out as odd to me too

One "flaw" I see from the biz model itself is that your users will likely only use your site once (e.g., for one job transition). So customers aren't sticky. That's why driving new traffic and converting without a lot of intervention from you will need to be key! I got nothing to add etc on the how part though.
That's 100% true, the goal overtime is to expand it into a market place between employees at companies offering mentorship and others looking for mentorship and to expand to B2B services.
For both, critical mass is necessary, and I am definitely not their yet. I also thought about subscription based model, but as you said, with the current offer it's not feasible / interesting.

This makes me so happy to read. I spent the whole week on redefining all the email flows, testimonials and popups on the website.
