Kinda. Second year C (high ratings) in Federal at 91k
Where is the MBA from? And FT vs PT? The three letters don’t mean more pay alone.
Get a strong counselor and PPMD backing and kill it in performance. I know an SC who came in as an underpaid C and he’s gotten 20+% raises every year since
Have a stellar year or get promoted brother. If you’re still not happy, it’s time to leave brother. Hulk Hogan out
It’s not about happiness, I just want to be compensated fairly based on the market. I was at 85k and a partner matched me into his office and basically said we’re screwing you, here’s another 5k. It was very underwhelming though
I think a lot of the S & A Senior Consultants are at $110.
I think if they’ve already given you a bit of a bump I wouldn’t expect too much more.
Don’t bother. I was in the exact same boat, got 1s two years in a row and only got bumped up to 106k. (Although AIP was good both years)
OP, how many years of experience do you have. Unfortunately, ppl that get promoted quickly often end up underpaid because they don’t have enough experience to qualify for higher bill rates on many contracts
Yup
What can I do besides get another job? I hear that the D doesn’t play salary games when you complain or wave another offer in their face
You need to just focus on your performance. Hit a home run and get a PPD to support you. This won’t happen overnight
This shouldn’t be difficult to remediate. Interview at a competitor, get an offer at market value, and leverage it to get a compensation adjustment at your current position.
I’ve heard D doesn’t play those games but I’ll give it a shot
