But what will they do without M level people, anyway CTS have less hierarchy so M level people can range from 10 years to 25 years of work ex. Most of them are not doing Managerial work coz they work as experienced Consultants or Senior Developers or Architects, names are different but Job title is same. If they start removing M title, they will be loosing main Work experience bracket which actually drives businesses.
For me, they had how much % you have on your offer. I said 20%. They told me 20% can definitely be worked out on your current pay, no need to worry!
I joined CTS 6 months back.
Well it depends. Usually should be in a week. But then it also depends on criticality that you are holding. For me, they called in 2-3 days post resignation.
No revised ctc. I didn’t pursue that discussion again as I am not planning to stay in CTS.
Guys, listen very clear... cognizant don't want to retain any manager, unless they are less paid. Or for some exceptional cases it may be different, otherwise they don't want to retain any managers...it's unwritten policy
+1 for the comment made by the Author here.
Just ask yourself, what they have don e with managers in recent years...they want to reduce the numbers of managers...in next upcoming years you will see these anti-manager policies more
CTS leadership maybe fails to understand that in most of cases, even M level folks are doing core tech hands-on work. And grade M is just a fulfilment requirement to position people.
Still they M folks until the program starts to collapse!
