Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

CPA is definitely worth it if you're staying in the accounting/finance field, or even just general business. It is at worst, an impressive achievement.

I'm not sure what you're saying with the "prep and pep"? And why are you mentioning CFE all of a sudden? Your post is all over the place. Honestly the exam is not that hard. You can pass all parts in like 6 months if you study right. Best to knock it out as early in your career as possible. I know people who are 30-45 years old in my company who are studying for it in order to help their career growth.

If you want to pivot to coding, then you'd be better served putting your entire focus on that.

Canadian acronyms. PREP is like university level accounting courses. PEP is sorta like the extra year of masters. CFE is 3 day long exam, similar to your 4 exams in the US.

Should I tell them know or just stay silent and give my 2 weeks notice?
