Suggest Anxious People! It was a light, funny read, but still sentimental at times

like

Just looked it up and it seems like a great read! Thanks for the tip 👍🏽

Ohh been meaning to check this book out. I recommend Leave the World Behind, Magic Hour, and The Great Alone.

like

The Great Alone by Kristen Hannah- This one was a bit more serious but wonderfully told

Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson- This one is humorous and cute and strange and just a happy light read

People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry- Super cute book, very light read

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid- Amazing storyline, characters, loved everything about this book!

So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July. Which is when I have my first vacation planned for over a year (I take 0 time off). My whole family is flying up and we’re renting a cabin near me. What do I do? I’m running one of the deals, semi running the other one and not doing much leading on the other one. Note: I was supposed to not be running any of these. Do I find a back up first or tell the partners first?

Hi all, was hoping for clarity on offers from FANG/Tier 2 tech I received recently. Base pay is still within range of 130-150K, but equity components have dropped dramatically. For reference, for similar positions, I was receiving grants of 150K - 200K over 4 years for data analyst positions (4-5 YOE) in Aug’21-Feb’22. For personal reasons, I did not accept these offers. Now the equity grants are coming in like 50-70K over 4 years. Is this market wide for non SWE/PM roles due to stock market?
