I haven't had to do interviews for a while but depends how I set them up. If it's through the job center about 20% don't show up. If its through indeed about 30% maybe.

Ghosting happens, but if it’s frequent, that’s worth looking inward. Usually it points to scheduling issues, slow follow ups, or candidates losing trust in the process. Occasional no shows happen, patterns don’t happen by accident. If managers are getting ghosted constantly, something in the process is broken.

Yes, it has definitely become more common. A few no shows here and there is normal, but when it is happening often it usually points to issues on the employer side too. Poor communication, slow hiring, or unclear roles can push candidates away just as much as flaky behavior.
I have seen an increase especially in the last 6 months. As annoying as it is for me, I almost don't blame candidates. They are navigating the worst job market I've ever seen and being ghosted themselves constantly. When they are being treated with such a lack of professionalism, it makes sense that they would show a little less professionalism in return.
