For people who work/worked in Financials Due Diligence, what are the exit opportunities other than IB? What is a normal day like? Currently in FDD, but want to learn more about the exit opportunities.

When my job is to handle all the corporations issues does it ever get hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel? Like that this business will survive? It will get its next round of funding? This litigation won’t wipe us out… something’s I just become very pessimistic about the future of the company.
