For those who are government contractors, how do you handle the constant 'merry-go-round' of contract expirations and unknowns if your contract will be picked back up or extended? Retired military, so while I had to change jobs and move on a regular basis, I never had to worry that I wouldn't have a job because of a contract bid. How do you navigate this? Stick around and hope the next contract company picks you up? See about internal movement options? Look for other jobs? All of the above?
