Feeling really low, like I'll never be able to find my person and always be alone

Good luck my friend. I bounced around a lot and it got boring at the end there (yes there is a limit to how much random hookup and dating one can endure). I ended up finding my wife, who happened to be a friend of a friend. I wasn't even trying when it happened. Keep your eyes open and enjoy life, don't go the hard way that I did. ❤️❤️❤️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

It happens when you least expect. I wanted to find someone and looked at all the apps and did plenty of dates. Lo and behold a good friend suddenly wanted more and it has so far worked out great. Sometimes people will surprise you!

Me, too. It's hard out there but only if you tell yourself it is. It could also be an adventure... depends on your perspective. I vacillate between the two depending on the day, my sleep, and how I'm treating myself. And, after a long, hard road, I've found taking care of my body is a good way to build energy which helps me to have a more positive mindset. I also remember no one knows the answer and a relationship doesn't solve everything, even though I really miss being in one.

I gave up actively looking - hoping it happens randomly when I least expect it like @EY2

OP - remember you're a GREAT deal for almost every person out there. Smart, good career, well paid + I'm sure lots of other wonderful characteristics. Don't settle, work on yourself and the right person will come along.

Dude I am with you. I don't know if I will ever find that person 😭

That's how I feel, dating seems to be hopeless and exhausting. Thanks EY2 for the insight that helped

Don't worry. Not finding a mate is the new norm. No one is in stable relationships nowadays. Bad in US but way worse in Japan, Korea

That's the way reality is. Many ppl have to be perfectly happy being alone. Don't let Hollywood or Bollywood sell you on how perfect and easy everything should be. It just happens to be the portrayal that sells tickets and makes them a profit
