In negotiation for a Manager Role for BNY Mellon (grade K). Looking for some guidance on how hard I can push the issue with increasing my offer.
My convo with the HR recruiter was that he would push for $130k plus a sign on bonus. Offer is coming back at $125k with no bonus. Exiting my current position I'll be leaving a 3% pay increase, $12k bonus payout next month and full remote work on the table. Those considered it would be a lateral financial move for the 2023 year.

Do the bonuses at Wachtell work different than at the rest of BigLaw firms (even Cravath)? I keep seeing in random places that WLK associates can get 50-100% of base (which is VERY different from the regular BigLaw bonus scale).

I got an offer from another organization of almost double of my current ctc, my current organization offering me a Manager post in Abroad and asking me to withdraw my resign, it will take 4-6 month in visa processing, I am left with 30 days out of 90 days of my notice period. Should I accept the offer? Can my visa get rejected even with the job offer? Would it be a good decision to not take double salary for next six month.. as visa processing can take time and in this corona time its mor tough
