I know how you feel. Thankfully my sister is a cosmetologist so I go home every other time and have her do my hair. I justify it with saying the plane ticket price is basically what I would pay to have someone do my hair which is true. But honestly its just gotten so expensive these days. I have gray roots and I have to keep them covered. Part of me just wants to embrace the gray and see what happens.

I LOVE gray hair. My mom s d aunts all had silver hair and when I go gray I’m letting it grow and go. I say embrace it! You can always go back to coloring if you’d like. I have a feeling you’ll love it though.

I hear you I don’t love sitting there keeping small talk with the stylist. I know that as a sales person I talked to people all day, but I hate that fake small talk. I just want to get my haircut and styled and get out of there. I actually have been dying my hair at home and I haven’t cut it since 2021. I just cannot get in the mood to go get it all cut off so I just style it each day or pull it back in a bun. My hair is a bit all over the place and I battle frizz so I understand having hair issues.

I want you to cut your hair coming from a good place and not a place of frustration sis. If the stylist has an attitude we don’t want her energy in your hair anyway,

So, might I suggest looking for a natural stylist and maybe rocking a low maintenance two strand twist for a while so you can decide what feels aligned for you next.

If you want to share what city you’re in I’m happy to help find a stylist who will be kinder to you and your hair.

I didn’t cut it. I got it trimmed and have started using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Just keeping it in low maintenance styles pretty much.

Hello all, I am a production manager for a sign design and manufacturing company. I have been with the company for six years now starting as lead graphic designer working my way to the production manager. since becoming the production manager two years ago I am responsible for 4 large format printers and 1 vinyl plotter. Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? Curious what the base and commission structure is for inside sales and associate director of sales in biotech (also anyone else who wants to share pls put industry). Paid hourly or salary? At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.
