Gold prices slipped lower Tuesday as the Federal Reserve kicked off its final meeting of the year that is expected to conclude with a rate cut on Wednesday.

At 15:09 ET, spot gold fell 0.3% to $2,646.06 an ounce, while gold futures expiring in February slipped 0.3% to $2,662.44 an ounce.

The yellow metal has fallen into something of a holding pattern between $2,600 and $2,700 as traders bought dollars before rate decisions from the Fed, the Bank of Japan and the Bank of England this week.

I have submitted the documents for LTI..before an formal HR call one lady HR called me and ask for expected CTC..i have one offer in hand and i demand 20% of that offer as fixed..she asked me to negotiate and so i went for 20% of offer as total CTC instead of fixed..she simply said OK thats it..and call ended..will I get positive note from them....?

SO and I got in to a disagreement on the background of Indian tech CEOs. It appears that they are all from 1 or 2 major communities in India.

While he thinks that its genetics/being naturally gifted that got them to where they are I believe it's the environment & discipline that made them successful. We are not from said communities but curious to hear your thoughts on who is more accurate.
