Good morning. Was an ironworker/welder for 15 years. Quit in June. I was living life on the road. Hard to keep a healthy schedule. I could of kept doing it, if not for poor management and a*hole forman. Had enough.
Now, I'm able to start anew. It's refreshing. More doors are opening and being able to be home with my family and sleep in my own bed is a blessing. I'm very grateful for all my time at old job. It made me tough and imbued a crazy hard-core work ethic in me.

So I’ve been doing trucking for about 5 years and to be honest it’s hasn’t been what I’ve expected. It is a local company but it’s like I’m never home still. I wanted to get in plumbing but seems like it’s all about experience when it come to a trade. I’ve applied to apprenticeship programs but that a progress that who knows how long it’s gunna take. I’m about to be 40 and I’m worried that I might not have to opportunity to change and I really not liking trucking anymore.

i can relate.
i worked in the tower industry for about 3 years before calling it quits. same issues as you: crap management and a terrible foreman. morale sank so low it made me realize i didn't want to live on the road anymore. best of luck in whatever you decide to do!

He currently thinking to come into IT industry as a developer/programmer/analyst.

Hello Folks!

During work from office days, a representative from third party vendor organization used to visit the Gurgaon office during the Investment Proof Declaration days to help folks with "rent agreements, PAN number and rent slips" (ahem!! ahem!! IYKYK) and we were able to claim tax deductions.

Is it still happening there? Also, does anyone have a contact for them?

Differences between Big 4 FDD versus mid tier PA firms or HL/A&M/D&P? Big 4 typically gets the largest deals, Mid tier PA and HL/A&M/D&P doesn’t have offshore help, would these statements be accurate?
