Every SI does the same
Some may but no, not every SI. Salesforce made the product though so really no excuse for their implementation team to not build it well.
A big part of the problem is they often outsource actual dev work to lower tier offshore firms.
I have it on good word that Salesforce outsources the work to SIs. Just because Salesforce worked on it doesn't mean it will be good. There are SIs out there that know more about Salesforce than Salesforce does.
Mentor
To be fair, there are good people in CSG proserv, but no one listens to them, whether it's the regional/OU leads, EM/PM, account partner, or sales/account team. And they outsource a lot and even have their own offshore org now. So these stories are very common.
I agree senior dev. Their flows are just as bad or even worse.
Their professional services are not great! They are just like other service based folks. My juniors who I trained are working in Salesforce
