With same timeframe I started at 60,000 and just accepted for 175 in a low COL area. This market/industry is insane
do you expect the industry will stay this way over the next few years? will market value only increase or is this a peak?

Leaving 2021 out for personal privacy reasons, but it has only minimally changed both from a salary and a TC sense. And only 1 of those not including this year represents a raise from the same employer 😬

Not every 12 months but I did some averaging. A couple were total duds and I left quickly (4 - 6 mos.), most I stayed longer (15 - 20 mos.) But every time I changed jobs my salary has gone up, even when at one point I was let go after being on the bench for an extended period at the previous place. Once I got to that 125k level I wasn't even necessarily that concerned with leaving for a pay bump, it has always been a different reason related to career growth/preference, and I haven't always taken the highest salary available to me... I could have jumped straight to 115/125 instead of 105 for example.
Very similar- started at $15/hr in 2016 and now at $170k due to jumps from small family company, in house admin to consulting
Very nice!
Wow, that’s very fast progression
Congrats, OP! What type of certifications do you have ?
What does MCOL stand for?

It's interesting to see how you have progressed. What kind of certifications and experience would help someone who is starting with consulting.
I am starting at 110k and just admin certification.
SPO1: that’s awesome! Are you in consulting?

Hi everyone, currently working with Cognizant and have cleared an interview in Salesforce. I'm applying for Pardot enginner position. My salary is 5 LPA now, what's the max salary that I can ask for and will they agree to it? Please guide, thanks in advance!
Congratulations! Where at in 2021?
That's awesome!
I work at a fast growing tech company and my stocks doing well but I am not fully vested.
I am managing and on boarding new contract/salesforce administrators but it doesn’t look like I will get promoted anytime soon. I’ve been receiving calls from recruiters of smaller companies. Is it a good idea to move now or should I wait one more year until I am fully vested?
