Yea it mandates
unless you are in odd shift like 3pm -12am, etc
if you are non compliant then .5 leave per week is deducted
If non compliant, 2 leave per month is deducted.
So it's half a day leave for a week at home? You can still work from home, right? Or can your manager cancel your WFH, and then it becomes a leave day on top of the half day?
Honestly, compared to some companies, that doesn’t even sound that bad.
You can basically treat it as “premium WFH subscription”. You sacrifice a leave and buy yourself a couple of weeks at home. Most of us already end up with leaves lapsing anyway. I had around 48 unused by year end and most of them lapse.
At this point, every company has its own version of corporate suffering. The real game is just finding the one that compensates you well enough to tolerate it with dignity.

But automatically there's a hr escalation and your manager won't approve your timesheet of proper reason is not provided of staying non compliant...
Not visiting office somedays in a week for 2 - 3 weeks back to back might lead to escalation also...
Worst bench
No one's going to give you calls for projects and after 60 days will be told to resign.
Just confirm whether they are hiring you for bench or a project..
what technology you are referring. At least in data there are projects.
Also almost all companies are same. Once hired you have to hunt for projects yourself.
Chances are you may get an out dated tech
