Guidance needed. Seniors/juniors. I got into this project couple of weeks back and since then i have been bombarded with requirements. Its take time to finish, apart from me having no knowledge of the system. NO KT has also been provided. Here requirements keep on changing or gets added up but the delivery date never changes. Eg: a new implementation got added up to the old communicated in the evening and expected to finish at night. Continued in comments.

So today the delivery manager mentioned, to take away one such requirement i was working on and assign it to a junior who is more experienced than me according to him. I felt very very down on this. What should be my take? I am unable to get over this and already this has taken a toll on me. Such things have never happened before. Although there was extreme pressure to complete requirements at an inhumane timeline. I work till 2 AM and this is something i am unable to digest. I am not a bad coder or something. But i need time to finish. How will i go ahead in this situation? I need guidance.

Any requirements changes happen you should mention your approx estimations. First you ask the time for complete, provide timeline each function wise.
If they can't accept your estimation then complete code roughly. Don't complete entire changes in 1 to 2 days.
In this situation you need to mention function KT required & get analysis time buffer.

I know in Deloitte follow such kind of stupid activity, without KT assign the bugs, requirement changes to be complete in EOD.

My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?

I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. I didn't ask to increase the amount or JB and I strongly believe I informed early so they can look for other candidates. Is this bluff? Any HR here to clarify
