General corporate in NY looking to lateral into tech transactions at one of the EC/VC firms. I’ve heard that I may get a class cut if I make the move but I’m ok with that. My worry is that EC/VC firms are crazy busy work differently from general corp, I also won’t have control over my hours, and potentially worse based on how billing differs (block billing on a few clients vs having to work with 15 or more startups). Is the same true for tech trans or IP group?

So, i put in my resignation and my manager calls me up. He says that he hired me during a bad time, i.e. during COVID pandemic last year, but it feels to him that when I felt convenient i am packing my bags and leaving. I have my thoughts to it, but do you also feel that I am leaving when it's convinient for me?!

What are the policies for getting onsite opportunity in TCS?
Is there a significant impact on onsite travels in TCS due to pandemic.
In current situation, can I opt to join in TCS considering I may get an onsite opportunity in 1-2 years from now.

TCS offered me 12.3 lpa for 4.8 yrs exp and I feel to reject the offer.
But not sure that TCS will consider my candidature in future. Please enlightened me on this.

TCS ghosted me. I cleared 2 rounds of interview and they asked me to update the documents. They are in verified status since 2 weeks. Since then I heard nothing from them. The salary negotiation has not happened yet. I called the HR and got the response like they will get back in a few days.
Anyone knows when will they get back??

I just cleared all rounds with Acko General Insurance for the position of Product Designer.
They asked for salary slip and offer letter to decide on the numbers. But my current pay scale isn't as per the industry standards and they are asking me to move to bangalore. If they give me a hike based on my current salary it would be next to impossible to move to bangalore. How do I put forward my points to them to try and convince them to pay me as per industry standards?
