What should be an ideal position at EY-GDS TSE with 7 yoe??
My current CTC is 28 total with 20lpa fixed and 8lakh variable (6-7 is almost fixed)?
Can they offer me 45+ as CTC?
Money will be the only motivation to join, as I am satisfied with my current job, so 40% standard hike will not make much sense.

Depends on company. I've heard that a lot of orgs are rescinding the previous offer on renegotiation.
Yes...you can ask for revision if u have any better offer.
Yes, i feel its totally fine and worth it to demand what you actually deserve. Apart from values we have our own growing expenses to pay. So if you have got this opportunity to stand and negotiate then you must do and then decide with their response. There is no harm in speaking up in today's competitive IT world.
Absolutely.
I don’t think that is the right thing to do. When I make the hiring decision, I ask the candidate to share their expected CTC and offer exactly that amount (assuming it fits in our budget plans). I don’t even care for their current CTC. Now once we shake hands on ECTC, any future discussion on comp is something I don’t tolerate.
