Being at home introduces a lot of variables to connection, etc. It’s just a lot easier for them to say it’s a ‘you’ problem, instead of looking at services and whether they are up or not. If you have IT support, I always go to them first.
Totally, it’s the easiest excuse to throw out. Instead of checking if the service is actually down, it’s just quicker to blame the person on the other end.
