Had three prospects in a row tell me our price was too high—same day, same script, practically. I didn’t even get to the value conversation before they shut it down. How do you handle price pushback when you know your solution is worth it?

A lot of times, they’ve received something via email from us that discusses pricing, and they want to talk about it first.

If this happened to me, I'd approach my manager to talk about whether or not you have any leverage to offer lower rates for a limited period of time. If this is a consistent issue for you, I'd be interested to know if your colleagues face the same thing.

You REALLY have to know your competition in cases like this. Even and especially those that don’t stack up as well do you can poke holes in their solution and twist the knife.
