My sister has been with her SO for like 10 years, basically a common law marriage. They bought a house together and are now talking about having a baby. They are high income earners, bringing in about 450K together. Apparently, my sister’s maternity leave, covers about 50% of her income after 3 mos. She’s considering asking her SO to pay her about 50K to help cover some of the “lost” amount while on mat leave…IDK how to feel about it. Should I give her advice or stay out of it?
