I love that. But I’m gonna be so totally honest, my cover letter is basically just a meme. I talk about how I need to make money because I have fancy dogs with expensive natural dog food and I would prefer to work from home because I do better with computers than people. I don’t think anyone actually reads it because it hasn’t stopped me from getting any interviews yet lol.
Truthfully, I haven't been writing cover letters. Unless a company specifically asks for one, I don't provide it anymore. I have had so many recruiters tell me that they don't read cover letters.
Cover letter good for your later reference as it lists company name address phone email and website if you want in the lines below your name address email phone followed by the date of the correspondence if you have the contact person. The name is listed with the company info and I'm the Dear... Line. The body of the letter states the position you are applying for..i.e. I am writing with interest in your opening for a jobtitlehere announced on I deed.com.
This position would utilize my 10 years experience as a jobihadhere and interest in
...field of interest here.
Please feel free to email me at my email address or text or call me at my cellphone at your earliest convenience so we may set up a time for a live interview.
I look forward to learning more about your challenging opening which makes use of my background and interests in optimizing business proceses.
Sincerely my amehere
I go back and forth on cover letters but mostly keep it short and to the point. Sometimes a hiring manager will be a stickler for them, and some recruiters are too.
