Harvard UG -> Wharton MBA (got full-ride and admitted via deferred program), is this seen as a significant decline in prestige though? Should I apply to GSB and HBS down the line and go there instead? They definitely won’t give me a full ride but idk…curious about what y’all would do.

Is it normal for people to ask for a raise when more responsibility/task fall under them? When would be the right time for me to get an MBA given my background?

I was a teacher for 4 years and transitioned into the corporate world. I have 6 months experience in marketing and that’s what I currently do, but plan for a lateral move in the future. I’ve seen suggestions of 3-7 years experience - does my teaching experience factor in? Or should I consider the 3-7 years only of my corporate time? Or is an MBA sooner a good move because of my big career transition (and future lateral)?

Assuming I get into CBS/Wharton, is there that much of a difference between them to forgo scholarship money? Accenture tech consultant vs KPMG Management consulting for top MBA exit in a few years? Which one will look better?

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).
