Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

I graduated LBS MBA2014. Now live in NY and about to move to Seattle.
Look at the alumni network.
If you’re staying in the US long term, the alumni from US schools is stronger there (not to say LBS/INSEAD don’t have a presence since they’re major schools)
IMO INSEAD is a top school but LBS is stronger with stronger connections into London (key EU hub) and great international connections. INSEAD is also further out of town location wise so less opportunity for networking/job hunting with local meetups etc with the people you’ll likely want to meet.
IBM2, I’m actually Australian. Planed to stay in London but did exchange to NY where I met a girl (now married with kids) hence how I ended up in the US.
Recruiting wise, LBS is a VERY strong name in the UK ie my google internship had 8 interns of which 5 were from LBS.
Name is less known in US but major companies do know it and all the jobs I’ve gotten have been though alumni connections / referrals so that didn’t stress me too much.

Depends a lot of your goals. Trying to live internationally? Or in US?
Trying to live internationally, open to opportunities in consulting and entrepreneurship.
Hoping to meet like-minded people and develop a meaningful network.
Want to work in the US -> US school
