Has anyone been in the position of filing a lawsuit against their company (not frivolous or gender / age based) while still working there?

I can’t imagine how this doesn’t lead to a messy separation from the firm.

If you feel aggrieved enough to consider a lawsuit, speak to a lawyer to understand your options. But realize filing that lawsuit and staying in your current role are mutually exclusive options.

Review your Partnership Agreement as it will inform you of your options.

… as in while you are actively / daily at work (not post exit or while on leave)?

Are you in a protected class? Highly recommend you seek legal counsel imminently. They can help you strategize. Not sure going to court is the logical next step. Typically one would start with a written complaint and escalate from there. Most stuff settle out of court, per my lawyer. Not sure what you are going through but good luck.

Are you a full equity partner ie a K1? If so you may not have the ability to do this depending on your partnership agreement

A fascinating use of an anonymous group. Well done. That said - apply a financial lens to the scenarios. What’s the cost of seeking the remedies you are seeking - both litigation, pre litigation & post. What’s your upside. What’s the downside. It’s a long drawn out process - seeking such remedies. Discovery & arguments. Best of luck in getting to justice.
