What about confidentiality?

You’re welcome😊 didn’t think outside the UK then so I’m just assuming this is for UK based, but who knows could come into effect in the US in the future, I’m not very knowledgeable on the different laws in different states.
UK confidentiality dealing with NDA’s trying to prevent victims of crimes from speaking out? I’m not UK-based but have heard about that, assuming that’s what you are talking about. Ideally, your company won’t have any clauses that have criminal silence included, but now would be a great time to update if they do.

Yes that’s the one, you’ve summed that up well for me. Yes more of a just an update your policy kind of thing, i doubt it would have any effect on a lot of us (I am UK based).

Yes GDPR is a whole law subject.
This is the new law coming into effect….
From October 1, 2025, a new rule under the Victim and Prisoners Act 2024 in England and Wales will make any contractual clause—such as in an NDA—void if it tries to stop a victim, or someone who reasonably believes themselves to be a victim, from disclosing information regarding criminal conduct.
