Can anyone speak to PwC’s new Corporate Development as a Service (CDaaS) offering? Saw it on LinkedIn and wondered if it’s a good gig. Currently in M&A Strategy at KPMG.

What are the true strengths of EY-Parthenon in Europe? I know they have the usual matrix of practices (topic vs industry), I’m more looking for those areas where they have a real edge?

What groups are best at tax valuations (e.g. IP and other asset valuations)?

Is it usually done by tax service lines or advisory service lines?

Anyone familiar with the culture of working at ADIA and how they run their transactions ? Is it very team based ? Do you expect they would be very intense working culture vs someone used to NY transaction work?

hi all, currently have two offers:

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

First house is currently valued at 900k (bought at 500k 7 years ago). We are considering a move to a LCOL city to try it out.

Should we rent it out for $3800/month to make money while keeping it as rental properties or sell it so we can buy a new home property and then invest the rest? Looks like getting financing for second home is pretty tough.

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

Big law specialist with an offer to be the CFO and GC of a 250M AUM hedge fund. All in comp would probably be ~$300k, so about $100k less than where I would be in big law (including bonus). Potential to get involved in the business side, but most likely more of a back office role (I would also be the only legal hire - main goal would be cutting outside legal cost and streamlining processes). Does this sound like an attractive offer? What exit options would I have?

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

Are there any good PM certification that’s worthwhile? Not something that’s on Udemy for 2 hours of coursework.
Most “certifications” I’ve seen seem a bit superficial… but my current PM job feels like a glorified project manager role so I was hoping to use my extra time to study/earn a certificate to show my skill. If possible.

Does the size of the deals you work on impact your exit opps? I'm considering a role at an MM firm (non-PA firm) and they mentioned the deals are usually in the $200M area of size, which I realize is smaller than big 4 deals
