Has anyone here got Gratuity? What's the calculation basis, gross monthly salary or basic salary and how is it calculated?
Is it credited as soon as we complete 4yrs 240 days or when we leave the firm?

Gratuity will be paid with Full and Final when you leave the firm and is calculated based on you last day Salary

For example you worked for 6 years and your last day basic salary is 1 lakh. Here is what you will be paid.

Gratuity = 15* Last drawn Basic Salary* Years Of services / 26

Gratuity = (15 × 1,00,000 × 6) ÷ 26

= 346153 Rs

26 = Number of working days considered in a month
15= Days paid per year

Hello, I am working in HCL Technologiesas L1 resource my CWL is nagpur but I want to change my working location . It was changed a few months back but they have referred back to nagpur again saying because of some policies so I asked for a project change thought it may be useful for location change, it's been 23 months in my current project I asked for release but my sdm is not willing to release. I am due to join pwc IAC very soon. But while verifying my background, they tried calling my ex employer who didn't answer their calls or mails. It was a small firm with no specific HR department.
I forgot to take my relieving letter from him.
They have given me a partial go ahead to join contingent on the fact that i get the document from him.
I tried contacting him over calls and whatsapp but he didn't answer it as i didn't leave on good terms with him.

Hi Sharks!
I had interviewed with PwC India for Business Analyst role at Pune location, my both Manager round and Client round went well. However I have still not received any call/ offer from HR. I did call the HR she told me that they have not heard back from the Client.
Any idea how much time does the HR can take if they want to give offer.
My last working day is on this Friday and will have to join other company on Monday if dnt received offer from PwC. Please guide me.
