Developed carpal tunnel in law school and I think it’s affecting my weight lifting. I wear lifting gloves to help with my grip (and sweaty palms) but even with those, I still find myself struggling to not drop the bar/dumbbell after holding onto it for more than 10-15 seconds, even when the weight isn’t very heavy. My trainer says I also have knots in my wrists and palms and even when he’s massaged them out, I still struggle with this. Any tips on how to fix it? Should I try wrist straps?
