Don’t do this. Idk how many years you’ve been practicing, but you need to organically find a mentor who is good at business development. Or just ask more questions to attorneys you’re close. Don’t spend money on a coach

Agreed. As someone who generally is in favor of coaches for certain things, I think biz dev is the one area you should be leveraging internal resources first before seeking an external coach. Find a rainmaker in your group at your firm who is willing to teach you the ropes. That’s going to be the best ROI for your efforts.

You don’t need an external coach. You need to get with a rainmaker in your firm to mentor you.
Haven’t used her but just went to one of her free sessions and it seemed great but she’s been a bit pushy about engagement ever since (who can blame her, that’s her job). When I looked at her intake form, it mentioned $7500-$15,000 “investment in advisory support” which seems INSANE but maybe I’m misunderstanding what that means.
