Local pay scale is not that great..only few jobs available not to get a paycut. Also if you want to join consulting firms, your best bet is going through MBA. Expect to work slave hours in Seoul.
🙋🏻♂️... worked at some of the big names in korea. Transition was (still is) a work in progress, since i had been more used to being part of the hierarchy and never questioning those above me. Even now i have a hard time disagreeing with my superiors openly, but im getting better
Pros: korea is awesome to live in, food is good, fun place to enjoy while in the 20s. Tax is lower, cost of living is lower. Cons: car and gasoline too expensive. Corporate culture can be toxic and not good for long term career development
