Job titles can mean everything or not much of anything, depending on the company, the management, or the team structure. I've always been careful to get a pretty detailed sense of what a job actually entails. It's good to be wary of a lofty title that doesn't carry much weight.

The only reason people care about title is because of the money and perks that come along with it. People think it’s better to fast track to the top but it is absolutely not. Take a role where you can make an impact, add value and upskill so you can get promoted or standout to another company
