Have you guys been so burnt out that you feel like leaving your industry? I think about that often in film but I’m worried about starting a whole new career and the stress that it would lead to!

I do think about making a pivot to another field entirely, but it seems like a practical impossibility. I'd be starting over, and probably having a lot of stress over that. Plus I may not be making much money, which means more stress. It just feels like after a point you kind of get handcuffed to your industry (some people call it golden handcuffs, but mine aren't close to golden).

I'm desperate to leave design but I don't see a single job ad that doesn't ask for ridiculous requirements like 5+ years of experience in a role. Having to return to college/trade school at this age feels like a slap in the face. I'm exhausted by all of this.
