I do think about making a pivot to another field entirely, but it seems like a practical impossibility. I'd be starting over, and probably having a lot of stress over that. Plus I may not be making much money, which means more stress. It just feels like after a point you kind of get handcuffed to your industry (some people call it golden handcuffs, but mine aren't close to golden).

Yes, I’m quite early into my career so I suppose now is the time to evaluate before I’m properly in it!

This is my biggest problem. I always feel like this but then I am too overwhelmed to ever change. I look at changing then realise that switching industy sounds just as stressful

Yes it really does doesn’t it! But it could be good in the long run!
I'm desperate to leave design but I don't see a single job ad that doesn't ask for ridiculous requirements like 5+ years of experience in a role. Having to return to college/trade school at this age feels like a slap in the face. I'm exhausted by all of this.
