Having a tough time getting a Product Manager interview. I have 3.5 YOE in technology implementations for a startup (my client). First 2.5 years were spent building my clients software, most recent year has been as a project manager for them. A lot of what I’ve done in last year overlaps ProdM responsibilities but I recognize it is a change. Am I reaching too much for a PM role? What are other roles I should consider to try to position myself to break into PM? Thank you for your help 🙏🏼

Hi all! Is anyone here in Underwriting? Just want some thoughts on this as i’ve recently gotten an offer for an Underwriting Associate position and have never done any salary negotiations before. Does it seem unrealistic for my counter offer to be 12k more than the original offer? Considering that the original offer is roughly 8k less than the market salary. Plus i’m also accounting for wiggle room as i’m not expecting them to actually agree with the full 12k counter offer

I am expecting an offer from Master Card for Senior Software Engineer position in O Fallon MO. Please let me know what kind of base salary I can expect with 11 yrs experience . I don’t wanna undersell but also trying to avoid being aggressive but quote a decent number which will be achievable. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I am not sure who needs to hear this but exactly one year ago, I was at my lowest point in life. Today, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Life has truly been a rollercoaster these past few years for me.

I am sharing this to tell you that no matter what you’re feeling right now, it won’t last. Even the happiness I feel right now, I’ve had that stripped from me multiple times. That is LIFE. We have the good and the bad.
