Hi fishes,
Anyone joined coforge recently? Any reviews for the same? Is it worth to join this organisation? They told me they are hiring for Santander bank account but still be having client interview before onboarding to project. Any idea on this account? Is it tough to crack client interview over there? Don't want to face long bench hours like it used to be in Publicis sapient which led to brutal lay off. Kinda sceptical to join as it is giving me Publicis sapient vibes.Coforge Coforge ltd

I had the son of a client in my office last week and he said he would like to work with someone that charged hourly. He said he wanted to pay someone to look at his stuff, then tell him what to do with in a general sense, then he would go out and pick the investments he wants to use. For those of you who bill on an hourly basis, what does an hour of your time cost? Do you work like an attorney where it's a 15 minute minimum?
I generally work on a flat fee. I will meet with the prospect, and after we go over what they need, I can quote them a pretty solid flat fee. It only changes if the scope changes. I've been doing this enough that I have a pretty good idea what each engagement will entail. However, for divorce work and more complex planning cases, I charge hourly, because it is too hard to pin down exactly what is going to come up. In these cases, I usually take a retainer between $750-$2500, then bill periodically. I only bill by the hour.
I offer either retainer (on the clock) or flat annual fee (billed monthly). I have two clients that use the retainer everyone else does the flat fee.As we recently discussed in another thread, planning is a separate service from asset management so you have to pay for both. The only way I see rolling all comp into an aum fee is if you only use funds and have one or two models but even then you are giving something away for free.
Depends on the work. But for Financial Planning, $300 per hour, billed in 6 minute (1/10th of an hour) increments.
