Managers from different organizations bring their own unique cultures and working styles. Some are highly effective, while others tend to micromanage. Additionally, many are currently focused on impressing the India CEO to prove their value. In this effort to gain favor, some managers are pushing their team members to work overtime and during weekends. To put it simply, the company rule is that employees should work 2 days a week, but some managers are requiring 4 days, while others don't even ensure that employees are meeting the 2-day requirement.
No micro management perse. Depends on teams and leads. People are hired for mismatched roles and tech exp. LTCs first hike is due this March.
Implementing a single, unified rule across the company would likely take 1-2 years and require a strict course of action from the CEO. Managers should undergo training sessions focused on aligning their leadership style with the company’s values and ensuring consistency in how they manage their teams. This would help create a more cohesive and fair work environment across the organization.
