Saw someone asking about high-rise apartments in Mott Haven earlier. Just moved into a new apartment building here and honestly it’s not as bad as I thought. New buildings are safe and pretty spacious (relatively speaking). Downside is not really much to do around this area and food delivery is not great. Gave my 2-week notice and Partner has asked me stay an extra 3 days to wrap up a project that I know will be a very long 3 days... I don’t really want to do it but also am afraid of burning bridge. I have an MHA and 4 years of management experience. I’m currently a manager, but seeking a director level position. Any advice for trying to temper my expectations? I feel like all director level positions have 5 years in the posting, but a lot of my peers with the same experience are already in director level positions. Are they just lucky? Am I jumping the gun? Do I just need to stick it out?

I got a follow up call on an application for a "Remote" position. Talked to the recruiter and was told they planned a mandatory return to the office in the next year and the position was only "Remote" until then. Has anyone else see this?
