The only way to ensure it will happen is by jumping ship. Your leadership will most likely say “we will take this into consideration during your review and adjust accordingly”.....it’s always BS and you’ll stay on the lower end of the pay scale as you progress.
If you're in TDP or CDP, I'm pretty sure it's standardized.
Been there my friend, I jumped ship and got a 35k raise. You need to do the same.
I’ll chat with you.
Acc OP, I highly doubt you are lowballed with under 1 year experience. Generally, all new hires from undergrad start at the same salary. Do your 2 years and than jump to a new firm for a 30% raise like everyone else.
Anecdotal experience know someone who was around 60 something and with less than a year of experience got an offer from another firm in the same area for the upper 80's. It's possible to get a modest salary boost within a year. Whether it's worth it or not this early is up to you to decide.
As someone who jumped ship, I can certainly say that now I feel I’m adequately compensated for my skill set and experience.
As much as I do love the culture here, I think that’s what I may have to do, thanks for your input.
2 options: 1) get an offer somewhere else and then ask them to match it (be prepared to leave) or 2) stick around and see how good the raises are before doing 1)
At ACN you should be able to cite examples of people at your same level with the same # of yrs at level to be made whole. One of my friends did this who was a mgr and they gave him an increase. You’ll need your peers to share their salaries though. ACN has wide salary bands at all their levels though.
