I am expecting an offer from Ford. I was told I will be offered SG6 and they haven't said anything about CTC yet.

I have 6 years of experience. What level can I expect?

I also have no clue about:
1. WFH or Hybrid
2. CTC offered (all fixed or variable inc)
3. WLB
4. Benefits
5. Will they revise if I get a counter offer
6. If there is a probation period

Can someone help me please?

Sometimes I have trouble speaking to my coworkers because I’ll forget words in English which makes me sound silly, to say the least. Anyone dealt with that? If so, how did you overcome the feelings of insecurity?

Home reno financing question. Have a big project coming up in the $120-150k range. Funding sources are:
- 90k from a heloc around prime
- 10k from a credit card that offers promo checks at 2-3% for 12-18 months
- 375k in a brokerage
- 5-6k per month cash that I can put towards the project, loans, or brokerage

I don't want to stop funding the brokerage because my FIRE plan is less numbers based than "hoard like dragon until it's enough" but maybe I should... How would you optimize?

I’m a first-time prospective lateral likely to get an offer shortly. I just received a lateral questionnaire that requests billable hours, rates, fees collected, etc. for the last three years. Forgive my ignorance but is this normal/standard? Do people actually answer these honestly? One of the reasons I’m leaving my firm is there isn’t enough work in my group so of course my hours are low.

Grind my teeth a lot, have a mouth guard. Looking for other alternatives and apparently Botox is really effective.

I’m wondering is it good to jump to industry for my next move or move up in the consulting world to polish my resume better with MBB or Big 4 in my resume… any thoughts?
