There are bugs in project but none of them are assigned to me. I had attended all the bug review meetings. Will it be a wise move to ask manager to assign me some bugs? Or should i just wait

I'm fresher seeking SOC opportunities. I have knowledge of Network Fundamentals, Windows Security, Firewalls, SIEM & Amazon cloud EC2.
Also have hands-on experience on Cisco Packet Tracer, Active Directory, Checkpoint Firewall, Splunk, Alien Vault OSSIM, Crowdstrike & Amazon AWS EC2.
I also know basic Linux commands & PowerShell scripting.
