I joined in Accenture as level 8. Prior to joining, I was apporached by a project, and they seemed to not convince with my lack of knowledge about the role hence they dropped me even after contacting couple of times. Now I have got call from another one and they also seem to be not fully sure because my last role was very different. My question is how difficult is it to get a project in Accenture? Will this interviews continue? Also, what are the chances of me getting a suitable role?
Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Some places that I’ve worked have security and safety policies against eating food sent by the audience. That might apply here.
That’s okay! Your input still made me thoughtful on how I can improve upon my idea.
Unfortunately it's not a bad idea but people don't take others serious if they physically drop off resumes. It's all on line. If you printed a QR code that linked to your resume. You might be able to drop off cards or put them with their coffee?
What’s the job goal you have, and what’s the market? You say newsroom, so I assume it’s a TV station…. If you have less than 5 years experience in an ACTUAL role and are looking for a job in a top market, it’s not going to happen. Places like that don’t take chances. You’d need to look in small town places, ie Midwest, ND, Montana, etc.
I would love to move up to an Associate Producer position or Production Assistant. I have been with the company for 2 years and I was an AP at a small market station. I have trained all the new hires on our team since I was hired and trained with the PJs. I regularly go out into the field to assist them on shoots. The issue is that my current position is contractual, but they keep extending it because they need the help. I keep hearing all this praise from higher up producers, PJs, and managers. It just sucks to hear all the praise and to be told other departments are keeping their eye out for me, but still not get a promotion. The company has gone through quite a few changes recently but they just posted some new openings. I’m trying to get more creative with how I get my name/resume out there.
Please note that we have each shadowed people, connected with people in person and through LinkedIn, and have gone for any development opportunities and programs provided by the company. We just want a fair chance.
Not a bad idea. Something a little more shelf stable might be better. I could see this working better outside of news as they get sent a lot of hate mail and whatnot.
