I’m seeking some advice. I’m currently pursuing my MHA and will be graduating this December. With over four years of professional experience and holding a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (as well as Green Belt), I’m considering whether obtaining a PMP or CPMP certification would enhance my prospects for securing an internship or an associate role. Given the current job market, do you think adding the PMP would be beneficial?

Anyone here regret moving from a mid-tier to big 4? If so, why?

Side hustle or startup ideas for someone who isn’t technical/doesn’t code? Where should I look or where to begin? I don’t have any strong passions or specific skills that I’m confident in. What books, articles, blogs, orgs, events, people I should follow for inspiration that has helped you? I have some cash to invest and am looking for a part time hustle that can cash flow at least a little bit of money on the side.

What is the experience required to become senior manager in US taxation

How did current in-house attorneys find their positions? I am currently in big law with 3 years of experience. Seems that most recruiters can only help me lateral to other big law firms.

I’m a 5th year associate in big law. I’ve always kept partnership in mind as an option, but last year I spent some time thinking about the future of my career and think I may want to go in-house (although I haven’t completely ruled out partnership). What should I be focusing my time on in the next couple of years? For IH counsel who transitioned from big law, what are some things you wish you had done before leaving big law? And where should I look to get a feel for the types of jobs out there?

Anyone work in one of the tax technology groups? I’m currently in SALT, but have some significant technology experience from some prior roles that I think could make me a decent fit for something like this. How is the WLB, pace of work, etc.? Im also curious how the exit opportunities look?

Looking to apply to MBB at 1-2 YOE after undergrad. Undergrad GPA isn’t bad, but not MBB quality. Will it help if I take the GMAT early and include the score on my app? How high is good enough? 750+?

Hello people of San Diego! Would love to hear how y’all are affording to live here comfortably. Please state your company, position, TC, YOE, and do you have a side hustle? I’ll start - I’m an advisor in Wealth Management with TC of $70k, 3 YOE and no side hustle. Among other things, rent just jumped from $2500 to $3700 for 2 bedroom and areas were looking at. I’d like to “make it” here but if it means switching career to make money I’d like to get an idea to make the right job change.

Graduating senior. Have choices between MBB and SWE at FAANG. Not sure what to do. Long term I’d love to be in a small startup or a leader in a tech company. Not sure which path is better for that. Any thoughts?

Currently I am working in TCS Kolkata with 6.8lpa, technology - Exchange 2010 (which is already out of support from Microsoft).
I got an offer from Infosys Bhubaneswar with 9.3lpa, technology: Office 365.
My hometown is Kolkata.
Hybrid model is okay for me if it is Bhubaneswar as my in-laws won't allow me to move to a different city. Problem is opportunities are very less in Kolkata and TCS won't hire ex- employees. Should I switch to Infosys or stay back in TCS..
