Ability to bootlick both internal and external stakeholders (onshore and offshore) is a critical intangible skill that reaps dividends.

funny

12 can be a decent average, with at least 3-4 years as manager

I have seen some people become SM in 10 - 15 yrs and if you are hoping for a chance

All the best

For startup founders/people with a successful side project: How did you get the idea/inspiration for your business? I’m currently working at a Series B startup and my end goal has always been to found my own startup, but I graduated from college 2.5 years ago and I still have not had any great ideas cross my mind. I do spend a fair amount of time brainstorming. I don’t want to continue working here forever, but I’m struggling to generate that “this is it” idea to build a company for. Any advice?

They want to bring back travel to 50%+ post Covid and I am not feeling that motivated to be away from my family that often.
