I am here to ask opinions from some senior folks working at TCS.

1. What is the grade system in TCS, and what does it mean? where does C4 stands?
2. I got 2 kinds of variable pay: Monthly and Quarterly. I heard that one of them doesn't get paid fully. Which is not paid in full. What is the average percentage that gets paid?
3. Does it provide transport in Pune?
4. What are the office hours? Any remote policy? How many days are from the office and home, etc.?

Is anyone’s wfh office chair getting less “springy” over time? Mine just doesn’t have the same umph it had before, constantly lowering throughout the day.

How much experience is recommended before applying? I’m 2 years out of undergrad and have been working in consulting at Big 4 since graduation. Aiming for M7 and interested in Data & Analytics and Finance.

Are there certain firms that are more accepting of Tax backgrounds entering advisory positions? I’m a CPA with a couple years regional tax experience looking to transition to advisory/deals, but have struggled getting big 4 advisory interviews even with solid recommendations.
I’ve heard there’s solid opportunities in advisory type work for some other large firms outside big 4. Has anybody made a similar transition?

Is there any band at each level? If yes what is the starting band for Manager level and min salary package?
