There is an opportunity that I’m currently interviewing for that is very interesting to me. I’m interviewing two other places but I’m not responding to LinkedIn emails for other positions. Got a verbal offer from Grant Thornton. The recruiter told me that they would get the paperwork over by Thursday or Friday. I mentioned that I am strongly considering the firm however I have other companies that I am also considering so I will be making my decision based on that. The recruiter then mentioned that I’ll likely have 3 days to respond after the offer is given. Is this normal? What should I do? Can I ask for an extension?

Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!
