At the end of the day, you have to do what’s best for you. Unless they can match that salary, taking the new position is completely understandable. So long as you give sufficient notice, there should be no hard feelings. It’s just business. They’ll find another therapist. Best of luck!
Make sure it is a practice area and company you are actually interested in. I took a pay cut of 15k because the job was unreasonable, not good for my family, and unethical at times.
Can you work one part time? I def wouldn’t pass up more money, especially if it’s an area that you’re interested in.
